Aimee read law at De Montfort University and graduated in 2017 with First Class Honours. She then continued to study the Legal Practice Course, obtaining a Distinction in 2018.
While undertaking her LPC, Aimee developed a keen interest in litigation. Choosing to study personal injury and family law, she enjoys the interesting and challenging work carried out by specialist litigation firms.
Aimee’s previous experience in conveyancing and immigration law has given her the ability to empathise with clients at often very stressful times in their lives, while also making sure they achieve the best possible outcome.
In July 2018 Aimee joined Bell Lax as a Litigation Support Lawyer where she works in the Personal Injury and Medical Negligence teams. Bell Lax spotted her talent for the law quickly and Aimee is now a trainee solicitor. She strives to help clients recover all of the compensation they deserve. Aimee chose Bell Lax as she wanted to be part of a team that gives their clients sensible and easy to understand advice.
She works for our client on claims for Medical Negligence involving:
- Hospital Negligence
- Care Home and Nursing Home Negligence
- Pressure Sores, Bed Sores or Pressure Ulcers
- Surgical Errors
- Brain Injuries
- Spinal Injuries including Cauda Equina
- Claims for Late or Misdiagnosis
She also assists Personal Injury Clients who have been injured due to:
- An Accident on the Road, including Drivers, Passengers,
- Cyclist Injury Claims
- Motor Bike Accident Claims
- Pedestrian Injury Claims
- Accidents at Work
- Slips, Trips and Falls on Public Highways or Private Property or Land.
- Industrial Disease
Recently Aimee has been assisting Natalie Bradshaw, a part time district Judge, gaining insight into complex construction litigation, within our commercial disputes team.
Aimee is adept at dealing with different area's of the law without compromising on quality.

Outside work, Aimee helps provide care for her grandfather and annually raises money for the Alzheimer’s Society. She enjoys travelling and history, often combining the two by visiting sites of cultural and historical interest.
