Solicitor
Lucy studied law at Lancaster University where she gained an Upper Second Class Honours degree. After graduating, she worked at one of “the big 4” accountancy firms in Birmingham as a tax assistant for both corporate and private clients.
Finding that she enjoyed the legal aspects of the work, Lucy decided to pursue a career in law, and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Birmingham with an overall commendation, achieving distinctions in Family and Employment Law.
Before joining the firm in June 2008, Lucy spent time as a paralegal at a niche firm specialising in relationship disputes. She assisted on a variety of cases, including private children matters, cohabitation disputes and divorces often involving substantial assets.
Out of work Lucy enjoys going to live music concerts and festivals, and is a grade 8 clarinettist and saxophonist.
